Certified Convenience Foodservice Manager (CCFM)
Registration & Program Details


NACS CAFÉ is now offering its first educational class - the Certified Convenience Foodservice Manager (CCFM) program. This three day certification session is currently being conducted “on premise” at Georgia State University Hospitality Center at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA.

The class is intended for experienced convenience store managers and multi-unit managers of stores with existing foodservice operations at some level. Class content focuses on foodservice systems, menu and product management, marketing opportunities, foodservice personnel management, fiscal management and controls, food safety systems, and management’s role in the growth of the foodservice segment. The class ends with a certification exam; certification is accredited by the Georgia State University School of Hospitality.

To achieve CCFM status, participants in the training class must:

  1. Register for and complete the entire classroom program. Class pre-work is sent after registration and payment are complete.
  2. Pass the written exam with a minimum score of 70%
  3. Successfully complete a post-class applied management project, which will be detailed during the classroom program

Participants achieving CCFM certification status must:

  1. Earn 21 continuing education credits through foodservice related activities every three years. This can be accomplished by participating in NACS or other relevant committees, making presentations at NACS events or at other organization conferences, attending training classes, etc.
  2. Become a Certified Food Protection Manager through an approved food safety class, i.e. ServSafe ®, Prometrics®, or the National Registry
  3. Pay $150 to renew certification at the end of three years; the continuing education requirement starts again.

Note: CCFM Certification is active for 3 years; CEUs should be documented and reported annually.

Participants earning and maintaining certification may use the CCFM professional designation on business cards and correspondence.

  • Class size is limited to 25 individuals. Register early to ensure your seat!

Where?

  • Classroom program will be conducted at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
  • Lodging will be available at the nearby OMNI Hotel at a special rate.
