NACS Industry Achievement Award
The NACS Industry Achievement Awards is the United States competition for the Global Achievement Award. Retail and supplier members will compete in the US and the retail winner and supplier winner will then move onto the Global Achievement Award competition held at the NACS Show.
The Global Achievement Award seeks to promote new ideas and information sharing in a global context to identify our industry's potential leaders. The international competition is organized and administered through NACS in the United States, the Association of Convenience Stores in the United Kingdom, the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores in Australia, New Zealand Association of Convenience Stores for New Zealand and the Canadian Convenience Store Association in Canada.
2009 Competition Topic
"In light of competition, convenience is not becoming more convenient" – how can you utilize customer feedback and what changes would you make to ensure you continue to enhance value for your consumers.
Submissions must be received by July 31, 2009
How to Enter
Interested participants must complete the Application Form (PDF) and either:
1.) Submit a written essay less than 4,000 words (or less than two pages in length) in 12-point font
OR
2.) Submit a PowerPoint presentation in response to the competition question.

Rules and Requirements

The NACS Industry Achievement Award is open to current employees of NACS retail and supplier member companies

Applicants must be 21-36 years old.

Each NACS retail and supplier company may submit only one entry. The company should determine the best entry to submit to NACS.
Award
The winners of the NACS Industry Achievement Award for 2009 will receive a $250 gift certificate as well as a complimentary trip to the NACS Show in Las Vegas, NV to compete in the Global Achievement Award competition.
The winners of the Global Achievement Award will receive a complimentary trip to a global industry event to attend free of cost as well as receiving international recognition.
