Turning Plans into Action is facilitated by former retailers, John Zikias and Casey McKenzie of Impact 21 Group. They have experience with implementing category management in the convenience store industry – both as retailers and consultants.
In addition to their efforts with NACS, Impact 21 Group is also working with many retailers on implementing category management within their organizations. This includes assisting retailers to partner with key vendors to develop comprehensive category plans. Impact 21 Group has enhanced the NACS Framework substantially over the past several years to assist retailers with real-world planning and implementation of category management strategies.
Impact 21 Group is also actively involved with retailers of all sizes in the area of retail automation, with specific emphasis on automation strategy development, store automation (back-office, cash management, labor management, etc.), centralized pricebook, point of sale scanning and data warehousing/business intelligence.
