Drive Your Business Decisions with Industry Data

Data collection for next year’s NACS State of the Industry Report is officially underway.

December 04, 2017

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Data collection for the NACS State of the Industry Report of 2017 Data has begun! We need your support by submitting your company data. The larger our sample size, the more data we have to analyze, which increases the quality of the report and its findings. Collecting and preparing your data for submission also helps you more deeply understand your own business metrics and prepares you to better benchmark against the industry when you receive the final report.

As with all industry data, NACS Firm Level Survey data is kept completely confidential—and has been for more than 40 years—and will only be used in aggregate for analysis with data from other participating retail companies.

The NACS State of the Industry Report includes the best available industry information that your company needs to stay competitive and progress to top-performer status. With increasing competition and continuing pressures on key categories, traditional c-store and fuel marketers need more responsive, more targeted performance data. Great benchmark information is the only way for you to design effective strategies to grow your market share and profits. Report information is based on the income statement, balance sheet and productivity data provided by convenience store companies across the country, as well as other data sources deemed credible by NACS.

And, as a survey participant, you’ll receive:

  • A complimentary published copy of the NACS State of the Industry Report of 2017 Data, rich with the most current data and benchmarks (a $849 value)
  • A free, downloadable copy of historical industry statistics in the NACS Fact Book (a $349 value)
  • Free admission for one person to the 2018 NACS State of the Industry Summit, April 10-12, in Chicago (a $999 value)
  • Reduced admission (pay only $299 per person) for additional attendees from the same company (a $700 savings per person)

Help NACS, our industry and your business—all at the same time. Submit your data today at www.convenience.org/SOIsurvey. For questions, contact Chris Rapanick, NACS director of business development, at crapanick@convenience.org.
