CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Matt Franks, director of operations at a local Raceway store, recently opened The Full Tank growler station, featuring “an all-star craft beer line-up, which Franks plans on rotating out both seasonally, as well as based on customer requests,” writes the Chattanoogan.com.

"Our goal is to expose a wider audience to craft beer," said Franks.

The Full Tank is dedicating one tap exclusively to a local brewery: "I believe it's important to commit to local businesses and with Moccasin Bend Brewing Company so close to us, it was a no-brainer to give them a tap," Franks told the news source.

Franks commented that he’s also hoping to educate consumers about craft beer. "Since opening, the biggest part of the job hasn't been pouring beer, but educating people about what a growler is and how craft beer is different from domestic beer," he told the news source. "We're constantly telling people about beers they've never heard of."

Convenience is also plays a role in what Franks hopes to be successful venture for the store, as customers who stop in for food and other beverages come to rely on his store for craft beer.

"We're integrating a craft beer experience into your daily routine," said Franks, adding, "We want buying craft beer to be as easy as buying anything else on your way home."
