MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Caribou Coffee and Bruegger's Bagels will unveil their first co-branded locations tomorrow, two Twin Cities stores that will offer signature Caribou and Bruegger’s offerings under one roof.

The co-branded venture will eventually expand across the country, with warm and welcoming interiors that feature a large seating area with a fireplace and a single checkout station.

"We have enjoyed a strong partnership with locally based Caribou Coffee in Minnesota for many years," said Claude Bergeron, CEO of Bruegger's Bagels' parent company, Le Duff America. "This is our largest market, and the co-branded locations are a natural evolution, strengthening both brands and giving our guests the best of both worlds."

Both Caribou and Bruegger’s are independently owned but share a long history, with side-by-side locations that opened in Edina, Minnesota, in 1992. Today, the two companies have 10 side-by-side locations.

"Our guests have long known that Bruegger's Bagels and Caribou Coffee are the perfect combination, with our high-quality, handcrafted beverages and Bruegger's Bagels' authentic New York-style bagels," said Caribou Coffee CEO and President Mike Tattersfield. "We're thrilled our new concept combines quality and convenience, and the partnership allows both brands to continue to focus on what each does best."

In celebration of the companies’ co-branded locations that open tomorrow, the first 50 guests in line before 6 a.m. at each store will receive free bagels and coffee for a year.
