November 07, 2017

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Last month at the NACS Show in Chicago, the cast and crew of Convenience Matters recorded its first ever podcast before a live audience. In front of a few hundred NACS Show attendees, hosts Jeff Lenard of NACS and John Eichberger of the Fuels Institute, led the 25-minute taping followed by an engaging Q&A with the audience.

The hosts were joined by special guests Billy Milam, president of RaceTrac Petroleum, and Kevin Smartt, president and CEO of Kwik Chek Food Stores. Topics during the taped episode (Episode #94 LIVE With NACS Leaders at 2017 NACS Show) ranged from the future fuels and electric vehicles to supply chain disruption caused by the recent hurricanes.

In addition to the taped episode, a special episode is also available with bonus material from the session’s audience Q&A. Facilitated by Convenience Matters hosts Donovan Woods and Carolyn Schnare, the audience dug deeper into  the electric vehicle issue with the retail leaders and hosts as well as questions about the podcasting process.

In addition to these two episodes, 9 full episodes and 3 Expo features were recorded at the NACS Show and will be released in the coming weeks through the end of 2017. Included in that tally are special episode interviews with mega stars William Shatner, Mark Wahlberg and Flo Rida

Convenience Matters episodes have been downloaded by listeners in more than 85 countries more than 30,000 times.
