ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The convenience and fuel retailing industry’s deepest video archives just became deeper with more than 50 new videos segments added to the NACS Ideas 2 Go website.

More than 90 video segments are now showcased on the Ideas 2 Go site. The most recent additions (2006 to 2009 profiles), are organized thematically around broad industry topics, showing viewers how to address credit card fees, create innovative store designs, implement world-class foodservice or inspire superior customer relations and human resources operations. A number of the videos also focus on marketing ideas and programs, including one on 7-Eleven’s wildly successful (temporary) transformation to the Kwik-E-Mart in 2007 to promote “The Simpsons Movie.”

Featured companies in the latest additions include well-known domestic retailers (QuikTrip, Wawa, Sheetz, Valero and Maverik), international retailers (Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Delhaize Group) and one-store operations (Tioga Gas Mart, Conserv Fuel, the Market at Jodeco and Shortstop Deli).

Since its debut in 1994, Ideas 2 Go has featured hundreds of interviews with retailers from 38 states and five other countries, sharing best practices related to their operations, both in store and in their community. The Ideas 2 Go website is intended to showcase the industry’s best practices to not only retailers but to the community at large.

The NACS Ideas 2 Go site now features all 96 stores profiled from 2006 to 2013, with additional videos from years prior to be continually added to the site. This year’s Ideas 2 Go program was shown to a standing-room audience at the 2014 NACS Show and is available for purchase at nacsonline.com/buyideas2go.
