TAIPEI, Taiwan – 7-Eleven locations in Taiwan will soon offer Starbucks counters inside stores, selling coffee and 23 other products such as cookies and bottled beverages, reports the China Post.

The integration of 7-Eleven and Starbucks is the first of its kind in Asia, notes the news source, which is part of a new initiative that will launch in 30 7-Eleven stores located in 12 cities and counties around Taiwan and Penghu, where Starbucks has yet to open a location.

The "store within a store" will first open at locations along main roads, commercial districts, tourist spots and recreational areas. 7-Eleven and Starbucks have had a positive relationship, writes the news source, noting that during the Chinese New Year in 2013, an egg roll gift box introduced by the two brands sold out quickly.

Sales of its Starbucks’ Frappuccino and Dark Mocha Frappuccino bottled drinks in 7-Eleven stores are also strong, and Starbucks has been introducing seasonal products throughout the year. With Halloween approaching, it recently rolled out a Halloween-themed Frappula Frappuccino, available until October 31. Starbucks and 7-Eleven franchises in Taiwan are operated by Uni-President Enterprises Corp.
