SAN RAMON, Calif. – Chevron U.S.A. Inc., has announced that it will integrate with Apple Pay, the new mobile payments system that launched this week. The company said that Apple Pay will be accepted at more than 3,000 Chevron and Texaco convenience stores, including all Chevron and Texaco ExtraMile locations, in time for the holiday season.

Chevron is working toward making Apple Pay available to the remaining Chevron and Texaco network by early 2015, and is working closely with Apple Pay to offer fuel transaction solutions at the fuel pump.

Chevron and Texaco customers at participating locations will be able to pay for fuel and other goods and services inside convenience stores with their iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch, upon availability. Customers can also access compatible apps with Apple Pay when paying for goods and services with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. Apple Pay is easy to set-up and customers will continue to receive all of the rewards and benefits offered by their credit and debit cards.

“We are thrilled to innovate in the area of retail fuel transactions by making the customer experience for payment and loyalty as smooth, seamless and secure as possible,” said Glenn Johnson, general manager, Americas products marketing sales and services, Chevron, in a news release. “Offering Apple Pay to our customers further solidifies our commitment to delivering high quality products and services in a secure and convenient manner.”
