Subway Salutes Veterans

Subway will honor Wounded Warriors this Veterans Day, in partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project.

MILFORD, CT – Subway Restaurants announced that this Veterans Day, it will continue its partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and endorse a range of programs and services for this generation of Wounded Warriors and their families.

The sandwich chain will showcase on its website and on social media stories from Wounded Warriors who have overcome major hurdles upon returning from war. Additionally, Subway will make a financial contribution to WWP to help fund programs that range from physical health and wellness to those that offer employment opportunities and family/peer support.

"Many members of the Subway family including countless franchisees, employees, and loyal customers, have served our country," said Jeff Larson, Vice President of Global Marketing, Marketing Development and Activation at SUBWAY restaurants. "Our partnership with Wounded Warrior Project is just one way we want to recognize their service and say thank you."

The program will also include an online campaign to encourage fans to recognize the inspiring veterans in their lives by using #SUBWAYSalutes on Twitter.
