Hunt Brothers Distributor Launches National Charity Initiative

“Provide” program pairs convenience stores with local charities to reach people in need.

NASHVILLE —TBHC Delivers, the country’s largest distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, has launched a new charitable initiative that will directly impact people in need in hundreds of communities across the company’s 14-state reach. The “Provide” initiative pairs TBHC Delivers’ convenience store partners with local charitable organizations, creating new opportunities for the stores to help people in their own communities with basic life necessities: a warm coat, food on the table or school supplies for children.

Provide launched in early June, working with the distributor’s convenience partners in each market to create a food drive to help children and families in their communities. One in five children in the U.S. are food insecure, according to Feeding America, and TBHC Delivers worked with its partners to make the summer, a time when meals aren’t provided at school, a little easier on families in these communities.

“We’re excited to have launched this program in Nashville and throughout the rest of our markets,” said Britt Hunt, CEO of TBHC Delivers. “This initiative allows us to give back to our communities and demonstrate our company’s mission and core values by being a blessing to people and touching many lives. We’re thankful we can bring this initiative to the communities we serve.”

Provide aims to create opportunities throughout the year for TBHC Delivers’ partners and employees to give back to those around them. TBHC Delivers will facilitate the initiatives with local community organizations such as food banks, schools and charitable organizations.
