NACS Show Highlights: Get in the Game with the Playbook for Success

Session will answer retailers’ questions on how to grow same store sales … so ask away!

September 23, 2014

LAS VEGAS – Most retailers would agree that they want help growing same store sales, but may not know where to go for the most relevant advice. Learning from other successful retailers is an essential first step and the NACS/Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council’s (NACS/CCRRC) Playbook for Success does just that, by applying the knowledge gained by successful two convenience retailers.

Attendees at next month’s NACS Show won’t want to miss “Get in the Game with the Playbook for Success,” on Thursday, October 9 at 9:05 – 9:55 a.m. Panelists from Wawa and Handy Mart will share their real-life experiences about how they applied insights from the research, focused their energy and grew their businesses. Their stories demonstrate how the Playbook for Success works for both large and small c-store operators.

This program, “designed by retailers for retailers,” will address:

  • How retailers are using a simple 12 question survey to learn what their customers say are their strengths and where there are opportunities to improve.
  • How a 3-step process outlined in the Playbook can guide users to get the best results and translate new learnings into practical action.

Moderated by NACS/CCRRC Director Bill Bishop, the session will include ample time for questions from participants. In fact, retailers are asked to submit questions in advance — even if you may not be able to attend the session in person.

For instance: Does the NACS/CCRRC help desk provide basic coaching for those who haven’t done shopper marketing research before? How many customers do we need to survey to get valid results? What types of things will the survey results tell me that I can use to improve my business? Please email questions to bill.bishop@brickmeetsclick.com or Tweet them to @NACSCCRRC.
