SALT LAKE CITY and TONAWANDA, N.Y. – Corner Store raised $1.85 million in a recent month-long campaign for the Children’s Miracle Network, as associates asked customers to “Put Their Money Where The Miracles Are” by purchasing a $1 or $5 Miracle Balloon at the register.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® is a charity that raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals in North America and the Corner Store’s donations went to directly benefit 33 member hospitals in the communities where Corner Stores operate. The money raised will help fund life-saving equipment, research, therapy and charitable care to help save and improve the lives of the 10 million kids treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.

Corner Store has been a partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1995, raising funds for children’s hospitals through multiple campaigns totaling more than $21 million in the past 19 years.

In July, NOCO Express stores, its customers and employees raised more than $13,000 to support Hospice Foundation of Western New York. Throughout the month, paper sunflowers were sold for $1 each at all of NOCO Express’ 36 locations to support participating hospice programs in Western New York.

“Thank you to our employees and customers who joined together for the third year in a row to generously support Hospice and their ongoing work to provide care and compassion to individuals and their families,” said Jim DeFilippis, general manager, NOCO Express.
