BATTLE CREEK, MI – In a move destined to cause Tony the Tiger to claw at his cage, Kellogg’s announced last week that it has begun offering Kellogg’s To Go breakfast shakes as an on-the-go solution for breakfast skippers.

The cereal icon is partnering with EXTRA television host and author Maria Menounos to promote its new on-the-go option. The shakes contain 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.

In launching the drinkable breakfasts, Kellogg’s pointed to its Kellogg’s To Go survey that revealed 31 million Americans skip the day’s most important meal. Its breakfast shakes are designed to allow even the most time-pressed consumer to start each day on a nutritious note.

"As a busy TV host, I'm constantly running from one television set to the other," Menounos said. "Because of my schedule, I sometimes fall victim to breakfast skipping and don't feel my best the rest of the day. Kellogg's To Go Breakfast Shakes give me a great start even on my busiest of days with a breakfast option I can take on-the-go."

Kellogg's To Go Breakfast Shakes are available in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavors.
