MOORE, OK – Last week, customers of an OnCue Express convenience store in Moore, Oklahoma, had the chance to say hello to a special guest when U.S. Rep. Tom Cole paid a visit as part of the NACS In Store program.

“My visit to OnCue was very informative and eye opening. The thing that struck me most is that while it seems like a simple business, there is a tremendous amount of complexity in the regulations and requirements involved in the operation. Obviously OnCue has been able to navigate those regulations and overcome the hurdles placed in front of them,” said Cole.

While in the store, Cole had the opportunity to visit with employees, get behind the register, and even tour behind the scenes of the OnCue Drive-Thru store.

“Although we visit our legislators in their offices every year, it was great to have Representative Cole visit our store in Moore, seeing everything first hand. We appreciate him for listening and for his willingness to learn,” said Jim Griffith, CEO of OnCue. “We are very proud of the stores we are building and the environment our employees create. Congressman Cole seemed legitimately just as proud to have us in his district.”

The NACS In Store program brings convenience and fuel industry retailers, members of Congress and communities together by offering U.S. legislators the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of our industry and local c-store operations. Be sure to check out NACS social media for live updates and photos taking place during all In Store events.

Based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, OnCue is a growing its presence in the Oklahoma convenience store market. OnCue has expanded to more than 65 locations, and expects to add new stores and approximately 200 new jobs in Oklahoma in 2016. NACS visited an OnCue location as part of the 2015 Ideas 2 Go program.
