NORFOLK, VA – The Miller Oil Foundation announced earlier this week that it distributed over $25,000 last month to charities in the Hampton Roads area.

Through the involvement of the Miller family members, staff and supporters of Millers, the foundation helps people help themselves and those around them. It hosts annual fundraisers that facilitate communities working together to help the less fortunate.

This year, the foundation presented grants to EdMarc Hospice for Children, Equi-Kids Therapeutic Riding Program, Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, ForKids, and St. Mary’s Home.  As part of the hands-on component of their grant giving effort, the Foundation will also be participating in the build of the 15th Bay St. homes funded by their grant to Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads.

The Foundation’s fundraisers include a Hearts of Hope campaign, a Charity Golf Classic, and a Chairman’s Reception.
