Caribou Opening Coffeehouses in Chicago's Jewel-Osco Stores

As part of the partnership, Caribou will offer its signature coffeehouse as well as introduce its premium-packaged coffee throughout the Jewel-Osco network.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Caribou Coffee Company Inc. announced earlier this week that it is expanding its retail and commercial presence in Chicago as it partners with Jewel-Osco, the city??s largest grocery chain.

As part of the new partnership, Caribou opened its first coffeehouse within a Jewel-Osco Chicagoland store last week and plans to open two additional stores in the area in the near future, with five more in 2013. Caribou will offer its signature coffeehouse as well as introduce its premium-packaged coffee throughout the Jewel-Osco network.

The Jewel-Osco partnership is a key move for Caribou as it seeks multi-channel growth. It plans to further expand among grocery and mass merchandise retailers across the country.
