VALPARAISO, IN – Family Express announced late last week that they are introducing what they call a “revolutionary” hot and iced espresso drink offering. The chain’s JAVA WAVE European Café is a premium, self-service espresso platform offering superior quality hot and iced drinks. 

Espresso is ground on the spot from fresh espresso beans for each drink and all beverages use Family Express’ daily delivered milk to create a superior latte experience. The JW European Café also delivers a groundbreaking innovation: cold milk froth for iced espresso drinks. “The JW European Café will position Family Express where our coffee customers are moving to,” said Gus Olympidis, Family Express president and CEO, in a press release. “Millennials and female consumers are gravitating towars a more sophisticated hot espresso experience and iced espresso offerings. We will deliver a superior drink for our customers, because our espresso platform can perform with unsurpassed consistency and we will even offer the finest sugarcane based flavor enhancements. Consistency has been problematic for even the finest quality coffeehouses because even the best barista has a hard time making every drink exactly the same.” 

The JAVA WAVE European Café offers an easy-to-use interactive touch screen, with limitless beverage options. “It will allow us the opportunity to offer a robust seasonal flavored menu, or to add extra espresso shots for the discriminating ‘drip coffee’ JAVA WAVE consumers,” stated Olympidis. Every Family Express store is expected to feature the new beverages by the end of August.
