YORK, Pa. - Rutter??s Farm Stores continues to feed the smart phone app-etite. Rutter??s has added an Android app to complement its previously introduced iPhone and Blackberry apps.

The apps are available as free downloads on www.rutters.com and from their respective app stores: Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World and Android Market. With the apps, customers can get directions to their nearest Rutter??s stores, check current gas prices, and redeem paperless mobile coupons sent directly to their smart phones.

Customers also can register their Rutter??s Rewards loyalty cards, which when used on purchases of more than 1,600 everyday items will earn them cents off gasoline. More than 160,000 customers have saved money on gasoline since the debut of Rutter??s Rewards.

Clicking on the Rutter??s Rewards icon on their smart phone displays will bring up their unique member number and bar code, which can be used for transactions instead of a Rutter??s Rewards card or key fob.
