Moisturizing While Driving

Nissan considers adding vitamin C to the air conditioning feature of some models to give drivers softer skin.

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Need a little moisturize? Just turn on your car??s AC. Nissan Motor Co.??s has announced a new addition to some of its models: an air filter that will diffuse vitamin C to help your skin stay soft, Advertising Age reports.

The Japanese automaker added the filter as part of a concentrated effort to design a more comfy in-car atmosphere to lower stress and fatigue. The new "health and well-being" concept includes a design to infuse vitamin C from the car??s air conditioning system that would stimulate passengers?? bodies to produce more moisture on the skin.

Right now, Nissan isn??t saying which car models or in which nations the vitamin C AC will be available or how much such a feature would could. However, consumers appear to be interested in being moisturized while driving. Bloggers and newspapers from all over the world have picked up the story.

Nissan already pampers car riders with its "forest AC" air conditioning system in its Nissan Fuga, a luxury sedan available in Japan. The forest AC recreates a natural forest inside the car via aromas, breezes, humidity and temperature.
