Gulf Teams Up With Boston Red Sox, New York Mets

The oil company is partnering with Major League Baseball teams on a summer sweepstakes.

WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. – Gulf Oil has launched a new partnership with the Boston Red Sox and the New York Mets to promote Gulf’s online shopping rewards program, Power Points. From July 1 through September 2, consumers who enroll in the program will automatically be entered for a chance to win tickets to see either the Boston Red Sox play at Fenway Park from atop the famous Green Monster or the 2015 National League Champion New York Mets at Citi Field.

The digital marketing program will ultimately deliver more than 2.5 million impressions throughout the Boston and New York areas through a combination of banner advertisements, social media posts and emails from Gulf, the Mets and the Red Sox.

To enter for a chance to win, consumers are directed to sign up for the Power Points rewards program. Once enrolled, members will be automatically entered for a chance to win some of the most sought-after tickets in all of Major League Baseball. For both promotions, two winners will be randomly selected each month during the sweepstakes period to receive game tickets.
