The Pantry Announces Fuel Agreement with Marathon

Kangaroo Express and Marathon joint branding to debut this fall in roughly 285 stores.

CARY, NC - The Pantry Inc., operator of Kangaroo Express stores, announced last week a fuel supply agreement with Marathon Petroleum LLC.

The agreement will have Marathon supplying fuel to more than 600 Pantry stores, with a co-branding relationship at roughly 285 of those sites. The re-branding will commence in Charlotte, NC stores and is expected to be completed across a seven-state region by year's end.

Re-branded Kangaroo Express convenience stores will incorporate The Pantry's "Fresh Initiative," which includes premium coffee and fresh food. Select stores will undergo renovations and remodeling.
