Publix to Launch $3.99 Kids Meals

Five prepackaged kid's meals to launch July 29 at Publix supermarkets.

LAKELAND, FL - Southeastern U.S. supermarket chain Publix announced earlier this week that beginning July 29, its Publix Deli will launch five ready-to-eat kids meals for $3.99 each, with each meal to include an entrée, two sides, and a drink.

The five meals, developed by Publix??s in-house registered dietician and to be prepared and packaged fresh daily (no customizations), will include:

  • Chicken tenders ?" Chicken tenders on a honey wheat roll, mini carrots, kid??s yogurt and fruit drink.
  • Ham sandwich thins ?" Ham on a wheat sandwich thin, mini carrots, kid??s yogurt and apple juice.
  • Peanut butter apple wrap ?" Peanut butter with apples in a multigrain wrap, string cheese, mini carrots, kid??s yogurt and fruit drink.
  • Peanut butter rolls ?" Peanut butter on a honey wheat roll, string cheese, apple sauce, mini carrots and fruit drink.
  • Turkey rolls ?" Roasted turkey breast on a honey wheat roll, apple and grape packet, mini raisins and organic white milk.
