FAIRFAX, VA – Exxon and Mobil retailers and Citi Retail Services announced earlier this week a new way for ExxonMobil Smart Card cardholders to “Get Smart and Save” this summer. New ExxonMobil Smart Card cardholders who apply by September 30, 2013, will enjoy a limited time offer of 18-cents-per-gallon rebates on qualifying purchases for their first two billing cycles, then enjoy the ongoing savings of 6 cents per gallon rebates on qualifying purchases each cycle thereafter.

For each billing cycle during which they purchase at least 45 gallons of Exxon or Mobil branded fuel, they will receive the rebate as a credit on their billing statement. Savings apply to every gallon up to 100 gallons per billing cycle.

“This promotion is a great opportunity to remind our customers that the ExxonMobil Smart Card is the smart way to pay for their fuel purchases," said John Rhodes, Americas retail sales director for ExxonMobil. “The Smart Card already offers a strong ongoing 6¢ per gallon value, with pay-at-the-pump convenience at nearly 10,000 Exxon and Mobil stations, $0 fraud liability and the ability to link to a free Speedpass device. And new cardholders who apply by September 30, 2013 will have the added incentive of triple introductory rebates."
