MIAMI – Burger King is betting that fans of Cheetos would like to experience their snack in a different form. The fast-food chain has added deep-fried sticks of mac-and-cheese with a Cheetos breading crust, Bloomberg reports.

Mac ‘n Cheetos, created via a partnership with PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division, will be sold for eight weeks—or until supplies last. “We’re partnering up with one of America’s favorite brands,” said Alex Macedo, president of North America at Burger King. “It’s quite unique.”

Burger King has been trying new things lately, putting hot dogs, egg burritos and chicken fries on its menu. Macedo indicated that the chain would be working with other brands to create hybrid menu items in the future. “We’re working on a few other menu items,” he said. “There’s room for us to do more together in the future.”

The trend of coupling snack foods with fast food started with Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos in 2012, a move that helped spur sales at the Mexican fast-food chain. The LTO of Mac ‘n Cheetos is part of Burger King’s return to focus on its core—inexpensive burgers and fries.
