Atlanta Gas Station Expands Beyond Snacks

The BP station will add a Domino’s Pizza and food court, as well as an upper level for offices.

ATLANTA – A BP station in Atlanta will soon offer more than gas and snacks, BisNow.com reports. Amin Alibhai, who owns several gas stations in the area, will expand that station to include a Domino’s Pizza and second-story office suites for his company, United Georgia Loans.

“It will be beautiful architecture,” with the upper story enclosed in glass, Alibhai said. He bought the station in 2016, with the idea to enlarge the foodservice offerings to meet customer demand for fresh food. The station already has a Dunkin’ Donuts attached to it.

“It's a landmark in the city. Everybody knows this store,” he said. “This property just cannot survive based on a gas station alone. The only way to increase revenue is to expand.”

Alibhai plans to have a sort of food court inside the convenience store with fried chicken and Mediterranean items, as well as the Dunkin’ Donuts and Domino’s Pizza outlets. The BP station will stay open for business during the renovations.
