Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Donates $50K to Red Cross Disaster Relief in Japan

The company has also sent care packages to its colleagues and families in Japan.

SANTA FE, NM - Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company (SFNTC), on behalf of its SFNTC-Japan affiliate in Tokyo, has donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief in Japan.

"We are deeply concerned for our colleagues and their families, as well as the thousands of people who have been affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami," said Nick Bumbacco, SFNTC??s president and CEO. "We??ve sent care packages, but wanted to do something that will have a broader impact in this very dark time of need."

To help the Red Cross continue to save lives locally, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Local Disaster Relief Fund by calling (800) 560-2302. Contributions to the Local Disaster Relief Fund may also be sent to the American Red Cross in New Mexico by mail: American Red Cross in New Mexico, 142 Monroe Street NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, or online at redcrossnewmexico.org.
