YORK, PA - Rutter??s announced earlier this week that it raised a record $110,000 for local charities at its 10th annual Rutter??s Children??s Charity golf outing held last week at the Out Door Country Club in York.

Over the past 10 years, the golf outing has raised over $800,000 on behalf of Rutter??s Children??s Charities, which benefits local children.

This year??s two primary beneficiaries include the Easter Seals of Central Pennsylvania and the Salvation Army. The Easter Seals will use its donation to purchase a specialty equipment van to transport children with physical disabilities and developmental delays, while the Salvation Army will remodel its York-area Children??s Learning Center, part of its after-school program.

"We look forward to this outing every year, and it??s great to see the impact these donations have made on our communities over the last 10 years," said Rutter??s CEO, Scott Hartman.
