KENT, Ohio – Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park recently announced plans to open Rockstop Gas & Wash. The new Hard Rock-branded gas station and car wash, as well as the addition of a third gaming and smoking patio, will bolster the Rocksino’s economic impact in Northeast Ohio and enhance its Players Club benefits and unique amenities. The two property enhancements equate to a more than $5 million investment.
Construction on Rockstop Gas & Wash started in early May and has a planned completion date in mid-September 2017. Construction on the new gaming and smoking patio is underway with an expected completion date in early June. The projects are expected to generate close to 100 construction jobs and over 35 new permanent jobs.

Birtha says that members of the Rocksino’s Rock Star Rewards loyalty program and company employees will receive a discount on their gas purchases and car washes and may use their points to redeem services.
“The Hard Rock’s latest expansion shows the company’s continuing commitment to the Village of Northfield and gives visitors another reason to patronize the Hard Rock property and the Village,” says Jesse Nehez, mayor, Northfield Village.
The entire Rockstop Gas & Wash site will occupy 45,000 square feet including a 3,500 square foot retail/car wash building, and will have six double-pumps, for a total of 12 handles to dispense gas. The pumps will feature Hard Rock style lighting effects and LED TVs, allowing for the broadcast of music videos and commercials.
“Rockstop Gas & Wash is the first Hard Rock branded gas station and car wash, right here in Northfield, Ohio,” Birtha said. “Once again, Northeast Ohio sets the bar high in terms of launching new products and services. What’s happening here in Northfield will become the prototype for similar amenities at Hard Rock International properties worldwide.”
A new gaming and smoking patio will be located adjacent to the Rocksino’s Constant Grind restaurant, a 24/7 bistro, increasing the total number of games at the Rocksino from 2,265 to more than 2,300.
