BUFFALO, N.Y. - NOCO Energy Corp. has launched a new convenience store franchise concept €" Dino-Mart €" across the state of New York, with the first store opening its doors last week: a $2 million new construction with 20 employees.

Buffalo News writes that the new 3,200-square-foot convenience store features a café, Canada-based Coffee Culture and a grab-and-go sandwich shop branded as Grand Island Eatery. The store also features in-store seating with free Wi-Fi Internet access and a fireplace. The fuel island has six pumps and LED lighting.

"Our goal is to grow the Dino-Mart brand throughout our operating area and then across upstate New York as we continue to expand and enhance our gasoline convenience store mode," Michael F. Newman, executive vice president of NOCO, said in a statement.

The company plans to open its second location in the Rochester area within the next couple of weeks.

Dino-Mart Managing Partner Chuck Rizzo said the company put its first location on Grand Island because it saw a need for a store of its kind there. "[It€™s] an area that really does not have quick and easy access to a gasoline convenience store," Rizzo told the newspaper.

NOCO Energy Corp. operates 33 NOCO Express convenience stores in Western New York.
