Fuels Institute Fills Board of Directors

The 11 Board members represent a diverse set of stakeholders.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Fuels Institute announced that it has filled its 11 Board of Directors seats. The Board has already begun to recruit candidates to serve on the Board of Advisors and to define and develop potential research projects. 

Founded in February 2013, the Fuels Institute is a non-profit, research-oriented think tank dedicated to evaluating the market issues related to consumer vehicles and the fuels that power them. Its governing structure incorporates a diverse set of stakeholders including, but not limited to, fuel retailers, fuel producers and refiners, alternative and renewable fuel producers, automobile manufacturers, environmental advocates, consumer organizations, academics, government entities and others with expertise in the fuels and automotive industries.

The Fuels Institute commissions and publishes comprehensive, fact-based research projects that address the issues identified by the affected stakeholders. These projects help to inform both business owners considering long-term investment decisions and policymakers considering legislation and regulations affecting the market.
