Stripes Convenience Stores Raising Funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

The four-week campaign will benefit 12 children's hospitals.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - During the month of April, Stripes Convenience Stores is inviting customers to join them in supporting the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a charity that raises funds for 170 children's hospitals, by purchasing a $1 Miracle Balloon at Stripes locations.

To enhance their fundraising campaign, Stripes has also stocked store shelves with Snickers, M&M's and Monkey Juice, a children??s drink sold exclusively at Stripes stores. The Miracle Balloons for the Stripes fundraising campaign includes two buy-one-get-one free coupons for these products, providing customers an additional incentive to make the $1 donation. In addition, a portion of the profits from Monkey Juice sales will go to support the work of Children??s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Stripes Convenience Stores is a long-time partner of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, raising more than $2 million for the organization in the last eight years. In 2011, Stripes raised more than $600,000 and hopes to raise even more money this year.

Like all Children's Miracle Network Hospitals campaigns, the funds raised from Stripes Convenience Store??s four-week drive will help create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that save and improve the lives of 17 million children treated at Children??s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.

All of the funds raised will go to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital located in the store??s market area.
