Don't Miss an Opportunity to Have Lunch With NACS

Industry Update Luncheons with NACS President and CEO Henry Armour may be coming to a city near you.

April 08, 2015

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NACS President and CEO Henry Armour has spent the first part of 2015 traveling across the country to host Industry Update Luncheons, in cities from Sacramento to Birmingham to Miami. These luncheons bring together retailers, suppliers and state association representatives for a unique experience to connect, exchange ideas and learn about industry performance trends and metrics in a casual setting.

Attendees gain a unique perspective on the issues that matter to our industry and insight on topics such as:

  • Industry performance trends, spotlighting NACS State of the Industry Report data on key categories and metrics relevant to the region
  • Important legislative and regulatory issues facing the convenience and fuel retailing industry, and NACS advocacy efforts to combat them
  • Hot topics and new initiatives, including nutrition and anti-obesity campaigns, motor fuels, tobacco regulations, card swipe fees and mobile commerce

“I attend the NACS Industry Update Luncheon because it's where I can hear from Hank Armour first-hand on what's going on in Congress that may affect the convenience and fuel retail industry, and how I can help by supporting NACS,” said Chevron Corporation’s Eric Gagnon, who attended a local lunch in 2014.

There is no cost to attend the Industry Update Luncheons and no advance preparation is required. Events are open to all retailers, regardless of membership status. Suppliers are invited to attend, up to two individuals per company per event.
