ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Conexxus will present a free webinar, How Stores Comply with Updated PCI Version, on Thursday, February 23, at 12:00 pm EST. Every store, no matter the size, must comply with the latest PCI and the new version on the way. This webinar will provide an update on process and compliance, including how to provide a self-assessment.

The webinar is geared toward small operators and franchisors and will key in on the following objectives:

• The fundamentals of PCI compliance, including major players and associated roles and responsibilities, compliance requirements versus validation activities, and resources to find out more information
• The realities of achieving and maintaining compliance
• Strategies and technologies to better secure card holder data (CHD) and help ease PCI compliance complexities (e.g., outsourcing, tokenization, P2P encryption, mobile)

The webinar presenters are:

• Dr. Branden R. Williams, director at Unionbank: Co-founded two technology services companies early in his career; and has been director of consulting at VeriSign, a CTO at RSA, vice president at First Data, held several executive roles in the industry and served on both the PCICo and EMVCo boards.
• Kimberly Ford, manager of POS systems support at Valero Energy Corporation: Has more than 16 years of employment with Valero and CST Brands. She has experience with enterprise networking, network security and project management, as well as being an active member of the Verifone Petroleum Council, Conexxus Data Security Committee and chairing the Conexxus POS Zone Router & Remote Access working group.
• Tabitha Greiner, chief security officer at Acumera: Has nearly 20 years of experience in information security across a variety of industries, including financial, retail, education, managed services and consulting. Greiner is active in industry communities, such as serving on PCI SSC special interest groups, Conexxus committees and as an ISC2 Austin Chapter board member.
