Recall prompted by suspected peanut contamination.

PLEASANT HILL, MO - f??real foods announced yesterday that it has expanded its voluntary recall of f??real Strawberry Banana Smoothies (Lot # 06/21/2012) produced at Smith Dairy Products Company in Orrville, Ohio.

The geographic expansion is a result of customer input regarding product distribution coverage. Additionally, the recall of a specific lot is due to the possible contamination of peanuts, an undeclared allergen.

f'real foods and Smith's Dairy have decided to remove this lot from the marketplace citing "an abundance of caution," recognizing the serious or life-threatening risk it might pose to those with peanut allergies.
