ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Now in its 9th year, the NACS Insight European Convenience Retailing Awards Program recognizes outstanding achievements in the European retail community. The program is a high point for retailers, industry experts and suppliers who gather together each June at the NACS Insight Convenience Summit – Europe event to recognize and celebrate industry success and innovation.
The awards provide one of the greatest benchmarks of global convenience retailing excellence. Over the years, entrants from multiple countries and diverse types of convenience formats and company sizes have participated. Past winners include FreshStop (South Africa), Applegreen (Ireland), Rutter’s (U.S.) and Topaz (Ireland).
Winners receive unique global exposure through trade, national and international press and television. In addition, winners receive complimentary NACS Show attendance (October 17-20 in Chicago, U.S.) for up to three employees and further opportunities to showcase their brand at this leading event for the convenience retail industry.

Each year, the international Grand Jury is comprised of leading global convenience retailers, business and industry experts from NACS and Insight, subject matter experts and representatives from the NACS International Board of Directors and Committee, which includes leaders from FreshStop, Migrolino, Shell and 7-Eleven, as well as from Coca-Cola, BIC and BAT.
