MCLEAN, VA – Grocery chain Giant opened its first in-store smoothie bar at a store in McLean, Virginia, offering a variety of standard flavors and custom-made drinks, Supermarket News reports.

Giant is providing nutrition information for all drinks, which are sold in a 20-ounce size. The smoothie bar is open from 8 am to 8 pm.

“Now, more than ever, folks in this area are constantly on the go. During the course of a fast-paced day, we don’t always remember or find time for the recommended daily servings of fresh fruit, vegetables and protein,” said Lisa Coleman, in-store nutritionist for Giant. “The smoothie bar offers a delicious and nutritious breakfast, snack, or post-workout meal that can also help customers fill the gaps in their daily diets.”
