ATLANTA – In a marketing move designed to make customers feel better about another six weeks of winter, Chick-fil-A announced yesterday that for the entire month of February, locations nationwide will give customers a free cup of the chain’s new THRIVE Farmers hot or iced coffee all day long.

The Atlanta-based restaurant chain partnered with THRIVE Farmers Coffee in August 2014 to introduce the QSR industry's first-ever specialty-grade coffee. The sale of each cup of coffee provides direct revenue to THRIVE Farmers network of family farmers in Central America, allowing them to earn up to 10 times more than farmers earn in traditional revenue models.

"Whether a few more weeks of winter or an early spring, we think our THRIVE Farmers coffee is perfect for any weather,” said David Farmer, vice president of menu strategy and development for Chick-fil-A, in a press release.

The free offer includes 12-ounce hot or 16-ounce iced sizes and is available while supplies last. The offer is available anytime during regular restaurant hours and is limited to one cup of coffee per customer, per visit. No additional purchase is necessary and no substitutions are available.
