Submit your data by Feb. 3 to see how your compensation benefits compare with your fellow retailers.

February 01, 2017

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Time is running out to participate in the newest NACS State of the Industry Compensation Report®—the most up-to-date, industry-specific benchmarking snapshot of employee compensation. In exchange for your data, as a survey participant, you will receive the full comprehensive report (a $275 value) with the newest industry data, analysis and insights when it's published in the spring.

For nearly 40 years, the NACS State of the Industry Compensation Report®--considered an essential guide for HR professionals—has provided convenience and fuel retailers with fresh insights into their company’s benefits. While maintaining your company's anonymity, you'll have access to the newest data offered by c-store retailers nationwide—dissected by firm size, U.S. region and location type (rural, urban) —to help you:

  • tailor your programs and set new workforce investment priorities for the fiscal year,
  • better understand underlying drivers of your company's performance, and
  • compare your workforce investments against industry averages in key HR categories of compensation, turnover and benefits by position and exemption status.

Plus, this year’s report will also present findings on training/hiring costs, measure the percentage and variety of screening/assessment tools used during the hiring process (e.g., values-based, personality and background checks), and address top of mind issues for convenience retailers, including the cost of hiring and number of interviews conducted for store level positions.

Access and complete the confidential survey online—or share the link with members of your team—by Friday, February 3, 2017. Your company's data will be treated confidentially; any reporting or references to survey results will be presented in aggregate form only. NACS has honored this pledge of confidentiality for nearly 40 years while reporting aggregated metrics that are critical to the convenience and fuel retailing industry.

For questions or assistance in completing the survey, contact Greg Levitan with NACS Research at glevitan@nacsonline.com or 703-518-4268.
