HOUSTON - Minute Maid announced earlier this week the launch of four new light juice drinks, each with 50 or fewer calories per eight-ounce serving. The drinks are now available for sale.

Minute Maid Pure Squeezed Light No Pulp Orange Juice Beverage tallies 50 calories per 8 fl. oz. serving and 50% less sugar and calories than regular orange juice. The other three drinks " Minute Maid Light Raspberry Fruit Drink with Tea, Light Peach Fruit Drink with Tea, and Chilled Light Mango Passion Fruit Drink " carry 15 calories per eight-ounce serving, which is 85% fewer calories than regular fruit drinks.

"These four new juice drinks were created to offer the great-tasting juice flavor people expect from Minute Maid, but with fewer calories," said Charles Torrey, Vice President, Marketing, Minute Maid Business Unit. "Today people are more conscious about what theyre eating and drinking. They want variety when it comes to both taste and calories. With these new juice drinks, were continuing to expand our portfolio to offer great tasting options to help people meet their individual needs."
