Companies are giving away free whipped topping dispensers to help c-stores compete with QSR coffee programs.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Eighty percent of consumers consider whipped topping a significant part of any beverage offering, so convenience retailers can make their coffee bars a sought-after destination by adding this element, according to Ignite Communications. Eby-Brown and Rich’s Foodservice have launched a special program that offers c-stores a free whipped topping dispenser with the purchase of a case of mytop™ Whipped Topping. Launched on January 1, the promotion ends Dec. 31, 2017.

“We’re giving away free dispensers to help c-stores compete with coffee QSRs. Consumers now expect the option of getting a creamy dollop of topping on their drinks, so they can use mytop Whipped Topping to customize their coffee, hot cocoa, frozen beverages and even frozen yogurt,” said Cheri F.
