CINCINNATI -- Speedway is again proving their commitment to helping the community and the future of child health through ongoing fundraising in support of Cincinnati Children’s center. Cincinnati-area Speedway locations are Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) partners, and over the next three years Cincinnati Children’s will use the funds raised to support the Complex Care Center at Cincinnati Children’s center.

“These funds will help open up opportunities for our doctors to do things for families we would not otherwise be able to do,” said Dr. David Hall, director of the center, in a press release. “We are committed to helping the kids and families we care for and we are so honored that Speedway is partnering with us and validating this important work through this investment.”

The center provides 24/7 inpatient and outpatient management of children and teens with medically complex chronic disease. Most have conditions that affect multiple body systems and are often dependent on medical technology for survival.

The funds will be used to help outfit the center’s new location with tools to help better care for kids with complex needs. The donation will also allow the center to serve more families, especially as the need for complex care increases in our community.
