PLANO, Texas – Pizza Hut expects its U.S. restaurants to fill up to 11,000 job openings as they head into the hungriest Sunday of the year for pizza fans: the Super Bowl. With pizza orders typically spiking to record numbers during pro football’s Big Game, having a full bench ready to deliver quick and reliable service is key. The uptick in hiring also reflects Pizza Hut’s commitment to improving the customer experience, fueling restaurant growth and unlocking the best potential in all restaurant employees.

The 11,000 positions estimated to be available are offered by Pizza Hut corporate-owned restaurants and many of the locally-owned and operated franchise restaurants across the country. Positions include pizza makers, delivery drivers, store managers and more.

“The Pizza Hut system is looking for 11,000 new go-getters to give our fans as positive an experience as possible,” said Kelly McCulloch, senior director of human resources at Pizza Hut, in a press release. “We’re committed to improving the overall customer experience. This starts with our restaurants recruiting top talent, and training team members to perform at their absolute best.”

Last year Pizza Hut pledged to grow the number of U.S. store locations to 8,500, and worldwide locations to 20,000, over the next several years.
