KINGSTON, Mass. – With the East Coast bracing for the first major snow storm of 2016, convenience stores are preparing to meet the needs of their customers. One Massachusetts retailer which proved its mettle against a mega snow storm last year is ready for any weather event.

Verc Enterprises has a long history of speedy service and unique locations or layouts designed to move customers through quickly, whether in stores or in the drive-thru lanes. The stores are an integral part of their communities with outreach, charity campaigns and sponsoring local events. That was very clear during a 2015 snow storm in which not one of Verc’s 24-hour stores closed.

The company also hires individuals with intellectual and learning disabilities, as well as those recently released from prison, through separate programs. The result is a dynamic workforce pulling together to serve customers.
