NACS Leadership Forum Kicks Off

This year's theme, Visions of the Future, focuses on how retailers can better position their businesses to address the changing convenience and fuel retailing landscape.

MIAMI, Fla. - The NACS Leadership Forum brings together retailers and NACS Hunter Club members to provide thought leadership, strengthen existing peer connections and build new business relationships.

The event kicks off today in Miami with a golf tournament benefitting the NACS Scholarship Program in Memory of Jim Yates and David Erickson. The program was created to recognize and to support industry employees who demonstrate the potential and the determination to someday hold positions of senior leadership in the industry.

During the afternoon General Session program, industry retail leaders Chris Baldwin, Hess Corporation's senior vice president of retail and energy marketing and Igal Zamir, president of MAPCO Express, will share their unique visions for the industry??s future, followed by a panel and audience Q&A session.

Tomorrow and Wednesday the General Session program will feature expert feedback and analysts on the future of payments, including emerging mobile platforms and payment solutions; customer engagement through social, mobile an onsite programs; and the future of motor fuels. Attendees will also participate in a special session the new political landscape, with an in-depth discussion on health-care reform and the swipe fees debate.

The NACS Leadership Forum ends on Wednesday; look for exclusive coverage in NACS Daily and in the April issue of NACS Magazine.
