NACS, The McIntosh Group Provide ADA Compliance Tools

The new program allows NACS members to access to customized and specific ADA compliance solutions by using McIntosh's existing branded offer.

ALEXANDRIA, VA - NACS has selected The McIntosh Group to provide its members with access to Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility compliance tools. The agreement provides NACS members with access to customized and specific solutions using McIntosh??s existing branded offer.

The McIntosh Group??s ADA compliance program is designed to help retailers navigate the slew of new requirements that could affect them as part of the updated Americans with Disabilities Act. Beginning March 15, 2012, any new construction in which the last building permit was issued or certified, or any alterations commenced after March 15, 2012, must comply with the new ADA regulations.

NACS and McIntosh are working together to review compliance requirements and develop industry-specific programs to help NACS members address their ADA responsibilities.
