BOWIE, MD – The Washington, Maryland, Delaware Service Station and Automotive Repair Association, (WMDA) is reminding its members that the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is still looking for stations interested in installing generators and taking advantage of up to a $25,000 in financial assistance from the MEA’s Fuel Up Maryland grant program.

Totaling $1.7 million, the grant money will be applied to other programs if left unused.

“If you have been procrastinating on an emergency power source and want some of this grant money you must act now,” said Kirk McCauley, director of member relations and government affairs for WMDA.
