EMERYVILLE, Calif. - Jamba Juice has launched its new meals aimed at children. The menu has 9.5-ounce smoothies in four flavors ?" Berry Beet It, Blueberry Strawberry Blast-off, Popp??in Peach Mango and Strawberry Gone Bananas ?" paired with Pizza Swirl with Turkey or Cheesy Stuffed Pretzel.

The meals are aimed at kids between the ages of 4 and 8, Nation??s Restaurant News reports. Each combination would clock in at under 500 calories.

"Jamba has always been a family favorite," said James White, CEO, president and chairman of Jamba Juice. "This just makes the brand more accessible. We say it??s 'kid and mom approved.??"

The chain partnered with the Healthy Living Council to design the menu. Each kid-menu smoothie packs 2.5 services of vegetables or fruit. "We??re very focused on being a solution provider," said White. "This platform will just be a complement to what we already do."

Jamba Juice only offers the new kids?? meals during the 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daypart. Only Jamba Juice stores will carry the new line, not Jamba GO units. The company has said it might add the children??s menu to its scaled down locations at a future date.
