TAMPA, FL - Tampa police said the "Cigarette Bandit" struck its 15th convenience store earlier this week, stealing 68 cartons of cigarettes from a local Rainbow Food Mart, Tampa Bay Times reports. It was the third time the store has been hit in the past two months.

Police said the man has stolen more than $30,000 in cigarettes from 15 South Tampa gas stations since October 30, presumably reselling them on the street.

The man has targeted South Tampa businesses in the early morning hours, smashing windows and prying his way to nearly 100 cartons of cigarettes in one instance.
